W is for..... the 3 foot tall white tailed deer. They live in most eastern parts of North America. The adult bucks have antlers that shed in the winter. They weigh 50-250 lbs. and are herbivores.  

 

W is for the 30 meter high White Oak also. It is in the Beech Family. It produces acorns like other oaks. It is called the White Oak because its leaves' undersides are white.
