MAP Testing

Student/Faculty Volleyball Game

The student/faculty volleyball game will be held on Tuesday, September 14. Soda and snacks will be for sale. Don’t miss this exciting activity.

Co-Curricular Clubs – Session 1

Co-Curricular brochures are out! If your child is interested in joining any club, please be sure to complete the sign-up sheet and return it to Ms. Johnson in room 207 or the Co-Curricular sign-up box in the office by Tuesday, September 21. Calendar Correction

The 7th And 8th grade Choir field trip to RBHS on Tuesday, October 5 is during the school day only. There will be no evening performance.

Chamber Choir Auditions

All 7th and 8th grade Choir members are eligible to audition for the Chamber Choir.  Auditions will be held Thursday, September 2.  Students who are interested should see Ms. Lynch for details.

S.M.A.R.T. Club

Attention all 7th and 8th grade parents

S.M.A.R.T. Club sign up will be August 31st for 7th grade and Sept 1st for 8th grade, parents and students need to attend their respective sign up meeting. These meetings will take place in the Hauser Auditorium. We will start promptly at 6:00pm and finish by 7:00pm. If you have questions please contact Mr. Wolf wolfk@district96.org.

S.M.A.R.T. Club is a drug and violence prevention program at Hauser Junior High School. It encourages students to reach out to their friends, younger students, and the community with an assertive drug-free and violence-free message. S.M.A.R.T. Club builds positive peer power, leadership, teamwork, and effective communication skills. The foundation of S.M.A.R.T. Club is the knowledge of negative personal and social effects of drugs and violence. The club facilitates this process through discussion groups, club meetings, and club events, which occur once per trimester. 

Choir Information

Chamber Choir Auditions (7th and 8th graders only) will be held on Thursday, September 2 at 8:00 a.m.
The first 6th grade choir rehearsal will be held Wednesday, September 1 at 8:00 a.m. in Room 217B.
7th and 8th grade choir started on Thursday, August 26 but students are still welcome to join on Tuesday, August 31 at 8:00 a.m. in Room 217B.
