Returning Student Registration (2018-19)

Online registration for students returning to District 96 for the 2018-19 school year is opening Tuesday. April 10th.

Parents should complete returning student registration by June 15th, so that we may plan staffing needs for the coming school year.

Registration

Riverside School District 96 utilizes PowerSchool Registration as its online registration portal.  On Tuesday, April 10th parents of current District 96 students will receive an email notification and hyperlinked registration code for each of their children who attend a District 96 school.  The notification will include detailed instructions on how to register online.

Families not having e-mail information on file with the district will receive a paper copy of the notification via USPS.

Residency

Riverside School District 96 requires all parents and guardians to complete residency verification as part of the registration process for the 2018-19 school year.  If you have already completed residency verification for an incoming Kindergarten student you may disregard this message.

In-person residency verification is required if you meet any of the following criteria:

  • If you have a student(s) entering Kindergarten, Grade 3 and Grade 6, or

All those not meeting the above criteria will be able to complete the residency verification process via the online registration portal.  Digital versions of all required documents can be uploaded in the Residency Verification section of the online form. If you are not able to upload digital versions of these documents, you will need to complete in-person residency verification at our District Office located at 63 Woodside Rd. in Riverside.

Only complete residency documentation will be accepted in order for registrations to be finalized.
