Remote Learning Update - April 17

By now I am sure most of you have heard the updated information from Governor Pritzker requiring all Illinois schools to be closed for the remainder of this school year.

District 96 Remote Learning Update

Today, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced that remote learning in Illinois will be extended through April 30 in order to slow down the spread of COVID-19. Remote learning will continue for all District 96 students through April 30 and possibly longer.

We wanted to check in with you at the end of your first week of eLearning with your children. You might be relieved to know that next week is Spring Break!

In response to the growing concern about the potential spread and impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we want to reassure you that the district is closely monitoring the news and updates from the Illinois Department of Health (IDPH) and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

eLearning in District 96 with Schools Closed for Student Attendance

Our schedule during the closure:
March 18 - 20: eLearning
March 23 - 27: Spring Break (No eLearning)
March 30 - April 3: eLearning
April 6: eLearning

Our schools are closed through April 6, with an anticipated student return on April 7, 2020. Please stay connected to District 96 email and website communication. It is possible that school closings could be extended beyond April 7.
