WSSRA’s Imaginarium Sensory Room is a place for children with special needs to enjoy a multi-sensory experience in a calm and relaxing environment.

Hauser 2021 Polar Plunge Team !!
Hauser earned the School Cool Challenge award for the Polar Plunge for our region. If that isn't a great accomplishment, Hauser is also the Statewide Cool School Champions! Congratulations!!

Hauser Jr. High School Best Buddies was announced Best Buddies Chapter of the Month in the State of Illinois for October! They were also featured in the Best Buddies What's Up Wednesday newsletter! Congratulations!!

Connecting students with disabilities and their peers through friendships and activities.
Meetings will be twice a month from 3:15-4:15 in the Hauser Library.

2018 Best Buddies Friendship Walk
Members of Hauser Cougar Buddies participated in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk held at the Brookfield Zoo on Saturday, May 5th, 2018. Hauser Jr. High students and staff walked for inclusion and showed their support!
2018 Special Olympics Track
The Hauser Special Olympics Team competed in the 2018 Spring Games Track Meet
held at Marmion Academy High School:
Here are the Awards Won:
(1st place) 100M Run - 2 Awards
(1st place) in the 25M Walk
(1st place) in the 10M Walk
(2nd place) in the 200M Run - 2 Awards
(6th place) in the 100M Run
In addition, 2 of our Hauser students advance to the State Summer Games held at ISU on June 15th!
