Erin's Law
Illinois House Bill 6193, better known as Erin's Law, was enacted on January 24, 2013 and requires public schools to implement an age-appropriate sexual abuse awareness and prevention curriculum for all students in grades Pre-K-12.
District 96 did an extensive program review and has selected the program Be Seen & Heard presented by Victor Pacini to fulfill our requirement related to Erin’s Law. Mr. Pacini has worked with over 500,000 students and has been endorsed by the Illinois and National PTAs. Please see the letter posted here for details.
