SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 18th

Summer School registration will be closed from May 20 - 23rd as we look to identify which classes have enough students to run. Please check back on May 24th for the updated course list and schedule.

Dear D96 Families,

I am happy to announce our 2019 Summer School Program. D96 Summer School will run for four weeks from July 15th - August 8th.  All classes are Monday through Thursday. Some classes run just one week, and some run for two; many classes run multiple sessions.

  • Week 1 July 15-18
  • Week 2 July 22-25
  • Week 3 July 29-August 1
  • Week 4 August 5-8

We are excited about the variety of classes we have this summer. There are many options for children to explore their interests and learn valuable skills.

This year families will pay Summer School Tuition electronically via the district’s new online fee payment system. Beginning in mid-April with Returning Student Registration, Riverside School District 96 will utilize the PushCoin service.  Our goal is to have PushCoin become a convenient one-stop shop through which parents can pay for all school-related fees.

When the district activates the new service this April, parents or guardians of existing District 96 students will receive detailed instructions via email on how to create their account and link their District 96 student(s). Instructions will also be provided on how to easily navigate the PushCoin online fee payment system.

As Summer School registrations are received and processed, the district will update PushCoin periodically to reflect parents’ registration submissions.  Registrations will not be considered final until tuition payments are received.

The catalog, schedule, electronic and printable registration materials can be found at the links to the right. Take a look. Registration opens on March 18th. Please register by May 1st. Classes need at least six students to run, and some classes fill up quickly. Please check the visual schedule link on the right for classes/sections that have filled up.

If you have any questions about Summer School in District 96, please call me or Ilse Velazquez at 708-447-7277.

Sincerely,

Kim Hefner
