Emergency School Closings & eLearning Days

 

eLearning Days allow school districts statewide to engage students in learning opportunities outside of the classroom due to inclement weather or other unexpected events. District 96 can utilize an eLearning Day in lieu of emergency days and allows the curriculum to move forward so students stay on track. If District 96 implements an eLearning Day, students and teachers will not need to make up that school day at the end of the school year. The called eLearning Day will act as the instructional school day.
