Active-Duty Military Personnel and Veterans Fee Waivers

Per P.A. 102-1032, students whose parents are veterans or active-duty military personnel with income at or below 200% of the federal poverty line qualify for fee waivers. Federal poverty information for 2025 can be found here.

To apply:

  • Fill out and submit the above form with the qualifying documentation by email to Email Riverside School District 96 or by mail/in person at the district's administrative offices.

You will be notified once the application is reviewed. If your application is approved, the assessed fees for the respective school year will be refunded. 

Please contact the registrar with questions regarding the application process. This application waives only registration and other school activity related fees. To receive free or reduced meal benefits, you must qualify for and complete a separate application.
