The Department of Curriculum and Instruction provides leadership and support for District 96 staff and students. The main mission of the department is the development, alignment, and implementation of standards, assessments, curriculum and instruction to provide each student with a challenging education promoting academic excellence, encouraging creativity, developing critical thinking, and fostering respect for self, community, and the environment.
