Blythe Park Elementary School is beginning the planning process for a new playground, scheduled for completion in summer 2026. As part of this important project, we invite Blythe Park parents, neighbors, and community members to join us in conversations with the district’s architects to learn more and provide input on potential designs. Students will discuss the project during the school day.
Opportunities to meet with DLA Architects will be offered on:
Monday, September 8 at 8:15 a.m.
Tuesday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m.
Visitors attending the Monday morning session are asked to check in at the front office with a valid ID, entering through Door A (south doors) at 735 Leesley Road. For the Tuesday evening session, please use Door B (north doors). Both sessions will take place in Blythe Park’s Library on the lower level.
We look forward to collaborating with the Village of Riverside along with families, neighbors, and community partners to create a playground that will serve Blythe Park students and the Riverside community for years to come.
