Hauser Junior High Auditorium
Join Dr. Doug Bolton as he identifies myths that create unnecessary pressure for parents, educators, and children. We know our children are struggling emotionally in unprecedented ways. Why? For starters, there is an overemphasis on achievement which intensifies stress, plus adult over involvement is robbing children of the experiences necessary to develop resilience.
How can we better support them? Attendees will:
Learn strategies to help their children feel more connected
Understand how to refocus energy on the things that are most essential for wellness and success
5 raffle winners will leave with a copy of Dr. Bolton’s book, Untethered: Creating Connected Families, Schools, and Communities to Raise a Resilient Generation
